MY BOOKSHELF

This book is the culmination of several years of visiting the Seneca Nation of Indians Reservation in Salamanca, NY, for the annual Veterans Powwow.

My backyard  includes southwestern Pennsylvania, parts of western Maryland and northern West Virginia.

Every time I go photographing, I am faced with the question: Where do I go? This region is rich with photographic opportunities.

The photographs in this book are just a sampling of what I find while exploring.

My photographic journey has always been about creativity, vision and experimentation.

My photographic journey is not unique. Artists in the 17th century used camera obcuras as a tool to create their art. Use of cameras as an art making tool has evolved in the Digital Age.

The images in this book represent the beginnings of my exploration the Digital Age of photography.
